Silicon oil fan clutch is mainly composed of front cover, housing, driving disc, driven disc, valve plate, driving shaft, bimetal coil spring temperature sensor, valve plate shaft, bearing, fan, etc.
The front cover, housing and driven plate are integrated with screws. The drive shaft is driven by the engine, and a drive plate is installed at the left end of the shaft, which rotates with the drive shaft. The driven plate is fixed on the clutch housing, and the space between the driven plate and the clutch housing is a working cavity. The space between the front cover and the driven plate is an oil storage cavity, and high-viscosity silicone oil is installed in the oil storage cavity. The oil inlet on the driven plate is closed by the control valve plate at room temperature, and the silicone oil in the oil storage cavity cannot flow into the working cavity at this time. There is no silicone oil in the working cavity, the torque on the driving plate cannot be transmitted to the driven plate, and the clutch is in a disengaged state. When the drive shaft rotates, the clutch housing equipped with fan blades slips on the bearing of the drive shaft, and rotates at a very low speed under the action of the friction of the sealing felt ring and the bearing. On the front cover, a spiral-shaped bimetallic temperature sensor is installed, one end is fixed on the front cover, and the other end is embedded in the valve drive pin.
